Caprica on Shut Down!

In the last few minutes Ports of Egress in; Caprica, The Low Islands and Dominions Beyond the Seas have been shut down! 

Apparently a terrorist threat from Legoland may be looming!  The Type 46 fleet left the Ports of Anglesia and Alexandria this evening!

Reports have reached CNN that Black Fox squadrons have been seen flying West of Anglesia!

Early this morning, preparations for the Equinox Day began! As most Alexandrians slept, a small section of the Imperial Military practised manoeuvres through the ancient streets of Alexandria.

Labour Leader Winston Spencer heads the new Labour Government. The First Minister was sworn in this afternoon and was appointed Head of the Government by HIM The Tsar at 7pm this evening.

Head of MODFA Arrested

MEP Petrov Tescocovitch has been arrested this afternoon for 'Political Improprieties'. Tescocovitch, a Member of the Eulenbourg Parliament since 2010 was assigned head of the MODFA in January. 

Alexandrian and Eulenbourg Police along with MEPs are questioning Tescocovitch about his running of the Ministry and unauthorised communications with the PBR.

MEP Brenda Mentov stated: "It would appear Mr Tescocovitch has been running the MODFA as if he himself were the First Minister and HIM combined."

Mr Tescocovitch was a runner for First Minister in 2005.  He was ousted as party leader by Cameron Davidoff. 

Further news indicates no correspondence from TSHs Prince Christian and Princess Grace of Carpentaria since arrival confirmation in the troubled state of Legoland.

Alarming Reports Smuggled from Legoland

Aggressive News Reports Received from Legoland Internal Press!

Alarming reports shed new light on the disappearance of President Brik should they be true! It would seem that Legoland wants more than just trade with the PBR, IT WANTS THE PBR!
If this is the case then at the CNN, we have every faith that Caprica will NOT allow this to happen!  We are sure the Navy will blockade Legoland and never allow any type of invasion to occur! 
The reports were leaked from Legoland to the CNN by activists in Legoland working to undermine the Emperor.  They followed outlandish and forged CNN reports on the PBR Official GOVERNMENT site.  Whatever lows will the PBR Government sink to next?  They had better be quick by all accounts!  They won't be in charge for much longer if Legoland gets its way!  The documents arrived via an e-mail entitled: 'TWO CAN PLAY AT THAT GAME!'

Large Explosion Near Davidium!

Explosions Near Davidium

Reports are emerging of large explosions, possibly three explosions, near to the Legoland capital of Davidium.  The reports coincide with the disappearance of the PBR Presidential Flight on May 5th.  A photo from Caprican Space Station 5 has been released to the CNN.

 

The HD Photo taken from orbit shows a large explosion near Davidium.  Could this be the missing Presidential Flight shot down by Legoland forces in an attempt to claim the PBR for itself?

CNN Suspects that TSHs The Prince and Princess of Carpentaria, are being mind tortured!  The Eulenbourg has made no official comment.  How strange three powerful warships are not in Port in Anglesia!  Legoland will be explaining itself sooner or else we feel!

 



President Brik Disappears!

The Presidential Flight of the PBR has vanished!

President Brik, whilst en route from the PBR to Legoland, has disappeared.  The Presidential Flight was monitored by HIM Navy leaving the PBR but apparently disappeared from RADAR over Legoland. 

HIM Caprican MODFA has been in communication with the PBR and has offered assistance and intelligence at this time. 

CNN suspects that the Legoland paramilitary forces opposed to Emperor David and his alliances may have terminated the Presidential Flight or indeed, that the Legoland Government themselves brought about the end of the PBR leader in an attempt to acquire the fertile lands of the PBR for themselves!

HIM Meets With Members Of The Armed Forces

HIM Tsar Peter III Emperor of the Capricas and King of the Low Islands, along with HIM the Tsarina, today met with a small select representative of HIM Armed Forces in the Ballroom of the Winter Palace.  May 4th 'Empire Forces Day' is the first National Holiday of the year.

Normally May 4th would be broadcast and photographed, however, the MODFA has decided to ban all press from posting the event internationally under the present climate.  A comment from the MODFA suggested that posting video or photographs of the Caprican Army on parade would invoke feelings of jealousy from minor states abroad and leak crucial technological data.

The Conservative Party voiced their total agreement by stating: 'It is a fundamental principle of conservatism to "keep ourselves to ourselves", let the voters have their say too, soon!'

What Caused Groons' Death?

Baron Groons' death has been blamed on Caprican mistreatment according to the Legoland Press.  If this IS the case (and we at CNN know it NOT to be true) it may well be due to the fact that even the upper classes in Legoland are less well acquainted with good nutrition than the humblest of Caprican workers!  Are Legolanders malnourished?  Perhaps this is the case!  Expensive Government spending and a pact with the agricultural economies of the PBR...  Legoland is obviously starving!!! 

 

 

The Farmlands of the PBR are obviously needed to feed the starving in Legoland! What will the PBR eat when Legoland has taken all their food?

Baron Groons was probably killed by his own Government.  Reports from Legoland suggest that the Legoland Government have discovered 'Mind Tech', a hideous technology banned for more than 20 years in Caprica.  The technology allows the probing of minifig minds to extract information.  It is highly dangerous and deadly.

Why Was Lord Groons' Brain Swiped?

Lord Groons as Ambassador to Caprica had visited many military installations.  We can only assume at the CNN that the Legoland Government wished to procure images from Lord Groons' brain of our military might!  Legoland hideousness has hit new lows!  In the elections CNN will be voting Labour!

Legoland is a starving Nation... The PBR is a child having its food stolen from its mouth...  Should Caprica allow this to happen?  Should the PBR have sold itself to Legoland fear?   Who knows... Who indeed knows?

Manifesto: The Foreign Policy instigated by the late Tsar Ivan has had disastrous consequences for the Empire, the Kingdom and its allies.  Voting Conservative would reduce taxation from the current 5% to 3% and allow all taxation to be pumped into the Caprican economy and not military spending.  Money has been wasted with the present Liberal Government under trade deals with foreign nations of ill repute and even more money wasted defending our glorious nation against those who wish to use us to their advantage.  Vote Conservative!  Vote for the party that will once again isolate our GLORIOUS nation from these vandals, liars, war mongers and infidels of 'supposed' minifig culture. 

Labour

Manifesto: The current Foreign policy is far too weak!  For the Empire and its allies to prosper we must expand and trade more!  We must open up our ports, allow our military to protect both our assets and those of our partners.  Taxation may increase to 6% but the benefits in investment would reap rewards.  Foreign powers should once and for all see their powerlessness and beg to trade with our mighty Empire!  I would say this to all Capricans who do not vote Labour, 'We will trade with those who aspire, we will strongly educate those who do not!  We will make the minifig world both a better and peaceful place!'

Leader: Cameron Davidoff
Manifesto: Our current Foreign Policy is one of harmony and education.  The present taxation rate of 5% allows our nation to prosper and thrive.  We want to talk with Foreign Powers and learn more from them.  Under our leadership the first Emissary from a foreign power was appointed.  We led the way to foreign intervention moving from isolation to the world community.  We have also updated defence technology to make us a world leading minifig power.  Vote Liberal, vote for continued peace.

Lord Groons Dead

BREAKING NEWS: Sir Reginald Isaac Groons has died!

Reginald Groons, both a hero of Legoland and of Caprica has died.  At 11am this morning Lord Groons passed away 'peacefully' following an 'intensive interrogation' by the Legoland 'Mind Police'.  It is widely speculated among what is left of 'free thought' in Legoland that the Ministry of Truth's experiments may have 'gone wrong', Sir Groons may have been MURDERED by the Legoland State.

Three destroyers have been placed in International Waters near to the Legoland Capital Davidium to ensure the safety of TSH Prince Christian and Princess Grace of Carpentaria.  HSHs Role as Ambassador is under question due to recent news from Legoland.  TSHs may be recalled in the next few days depending on Legoland Press reports.

It would seem that the Legoland Ministry of Truth is in fact the Ministry of 'State Sponsored Rubric' and 'self-denial'. 
The CNN hopes that this isn't the case, but all reports seem it is. 
It would appear that HIM Emperor David is a 'puppet monarch' controlled by uncontrollable political parties.  HIM Emperor David seeks peace - this should be congratulated! 

The CNN wishes the Caprican Armed Forces assist Emperor David in establishing a united Kingdom under his rule and once and for all, eliminating all opposition!
